Meet Tim Whipple, the visionary behind WIT. With a background in community work and church leadership, Tim now serves as the Executive Director of Speer Dream Foundation in Tampa Bay. Inspired by a passion for helping others, Tim founded Whatever It Takes (WIT) to make a difference.

Tim Whipple served for 38 years as a pastor in churches throughout the Southeast. Most recently Tim served as Founding and Lead Pastor of BridgePoint Church in Saint Petersburg, FL. During that time, BridgePoint expanded to 4 campuses and was listed by Outreach Magazine as one of the 100 Fastest Growing Churches in America for 3 straight years. Tim is joined at WIT by his wife Donna, who also has years of experience in ministry and serves as our Managing Director.

Tim has written two books. "7 Values" is a tool for local churches and organizations to discover their unique shape and purpose. In it they will discover what drives them and what will ultimately help them reach their mission. "Daring to Be" is an inside look at Tim's life and journey toward discovering his calling and purpose. Readers will discover the answer to 4 of life's biggest questions, Who are you? How did you get there? Who do you want to be? And, How are you going to get there?

Whatever It Takes (WIT) Foundation seeks to support organizations as they find their vision, discover their unique purpose, leverage opportunities for Kingdom impact and acquire resources for future growth.

Our mission is simple yet powerful: to do whatever it takes to create opportunities, restore hope, and build stronger communities. Through partnerships with schools, churches, nonprofits, and local organizations, we provide programs that address real needs—from supporting at-risk youth and returning citizens, to strengthening families and responding in times of crisis.

WIT is more than a foundation—it’s a movement. Every initiative we launch is rooted in the belief that everyone deserves dignity, access, and the chance to thrive. Whether it’s investing in leadership development, providing educational resources, or mobilizing rapid relief in the wake of disaster, we are committed to showing up and making a tangible difference.
